The Cyber Smart Program of DMTI has been put together with inputs from the Certifying Council. The members in this council have different areas of expertise and each of them have heavily contributed to the program. The members on the council are:
Mr. Vijay Mukhi, President, FIST
Mr. Vijay Mukhi is one of the pioneers of the Indian IT Industry. For years, he has been the one of first to teach emerging technologies in India thus ensuring, the country always has people trained in technologies that the world requires. He has authored more than 80 technical and non-technical books. Over last couple of decades, Vijay has also been active in promoting the advancement of the Indian IT industry via leadership positions that he holds in a number of organizations. Currently, he serves as the Co-chair of the Cyber-safety week (a joint venture between the Mumbai police & NASSCOMM). He is the IT chair of FICCI and also the Member, High Court/State Government Committee on Pornography and Cyber Laws.
Ms. Meeta Sengupta, Education Strategist
Ms. Meeta Sengupta is a writer and coach, who works with both corporate groups and individuals to hone their skills. She is equally comfortable with fiction and non-fiction genres. An alumnus from IIMA, Meeta has run writing and personal development workshops both in the UK and in India, winning acclaim and accolades from her colleagues and students alike, and hopes to be able to help people reach their full potential as writers. She is also the founder of the Centre for Education Strategy, a Delhi based think tank that builds bridges between policy and practice for educators, educationists and institutions. She is also the member of the Skills Development Forum of FICCI
Mr. Amith Bajla, Director – Taurian Group
Mr. Amith Bajla, Director of the Taurian group is a LLM (International Business Law) degree holder from London School of Economics. After working with Uniliver, he joined the family promoted company Taurian in 1999. Under his initiative, Taurian Group has recently diversified in establishing International standard schools (Taurian World School) all over India, with a plan to open at least five schools in next five years. The first ‘Taurian World School’ with world-class amenities and dedicated professional team, has already started in Ranchi.
Dr. Parul Tank, Psychiatrist
Dr. Tank is the Honorary and Head of the psychiatry at the Rajawadi Hospital. She leads a team of psychologists, counselors and an occupational therapist for appropriate referrals. She is also the consultant psychiatrist for Fortis Hospital. She was also a Locum consultant at the Castle Craig Hospital in the UK. She has studied at the GS Medical College and the KEM hospital. She also helps children and teenagers with emotional issues. She also comes as a consultant expert on the television show, Gumraahon Channel V.
