The Digital Marketing Training Institute (DMTI) is the leading Digital Media & Marketing training provider in the country. DMTI is the only institute in India that offers a comprehensive program that covers all aspects of Digital Marketing. Our programs are taught by the leading digital marketers of the country. The curriculum is updated every quarter & is extremely cutting edge.

DMTI was founded in 2011 and since then has trained thousands of academicians, working professionals and students in Digital Marketing. Our students include senior brand managers and media/advertising/marketing professionals. The quality of training has been par excellence prompting companies to return to us for their digital manpower requirements.

The success of DMTI is largely due to the contribution& commitment of senior professionals from the Digital Industry. They undertook the herculean task of putting together and delivering high quality, practical digital marketing training programs. Not a single person who was approached for being a part of this unique education movement declined. More and more people were introduced & the programs got better each time they were delivered.

DMTI Board of Advisors

Quality is at the heart of everything that we do at DMTI. To ensure that the DMTI programs are cutting edge and updated with the latest trends in the digital industry we put together a Board of Advisors. The BOA comprises of eminent personalities who represent advertising agency, publishing houses or media and brands/clients. We also have an academician who looks at the entire curriculum from an academic standpoint. The current BOA comprises of:

  • Virginia Sharma, Vice President – Marketing, IBM North America
    Virginia has been with IBM Software Group for over 12 years. Most recently, she was awarded with the Indy’s “Marcom Professional of the Year” award in the IT and Software Category by CMO Council and CMO Asia. Virginia is also an active member of various CMO advisory councils in India and also speaks regularly at various IT and digital marketing conferences. She has an undergraduate degree from University Of Virginia and an MBA from New York University.
  • PunithaArumugam, Director – Agency Business, Google India
    Ms. PunithaArumugam has been Vice President of Agency and Advertiser Relations of Google Inc since March 2012. Ms. Arumugam served as the Chief Executive Officer of Madison Media Group at Madison Communications Pvt. Ltd until March 30, 2012. She has over 15 years of experience in all facets of media- strategy, planning, buying, research and operations. She has worked with several agencies like O&M & Initiative Media and in several markets like Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai before joining Madison. Her experience spans a wide range of industries including FMCGs, durables and financial services. She has been voted as the 4th most influential person in the Indian Media Industry by Brand Equity Ad Agency Reckoner 2005.
  • Mahesh Murthy, Founder – Pinstrom, Co- Founder- SeedFund
    Mr. Murthy has spent 29 years helping big brands with marketing counsel, and 13 years helping startups with his marketing counsel and funding too. 19 of these years have been in digital media. Mahesh won notoriety and awards as Creative Director on Unilever, The Economist, Pepsi and MTV for whom he wrote and shot a series of top award-winning commercials. He then moved to a Silicon Valley agency, CKS Partners as CD, GM & Partner, where he helped create the first graphical UI for Yahoo in year 1995 and the now-classic Earth’s Biggest Bookstore campaign for Amazon in 1997. He set up Pinstorm – a digital-first brand management firm in 2004. With over 100 people across offices in India, Singapore & Malaysia, it is now among South Asia’s leading digital brand management firms, creating award-winning work on the region’s largest telecom, banking, FMCG and retail brands.
  • AnuragBatra, MD & Editor-in-Chief, exchange4media group / Chairman – Business World
    Mr. Batra is an entrepreneur, media observer and a journalist rolled into one. He is the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of exchange4media group which includes, PITCH, IMPACT, Realty Plus and Franchise Plus. In 2006 the prestigious Management Development Institute (MDI) and Mr. Batra’s Alma mater awarded him with “Most Distinguished Alumni of the Decade Award”. He is also a member of the Sales & Marketing committee of the Delhi Management Association and President of the Franchising Association of India, Northern chapter. MrBatra is passionate about Magazines and is on the Executive Committee of the Association of Indian Magazines (AIM). His love for teaching comes into play in his position as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of FMCC (Futuristic Media Communication Centre), a leading Media and Communication School in India. Recently, he has acquired the Business World magazine and is the Chairman of the same.
  • VivekBhargava, CEO India – iProspectCommunicate 2
    With a passion for the search industry, Mr. Bhargava has spent over 10 years in the field of Interactive Marketing. He is the founder of Communicate 2, which launched itself as a full – fledged interactive agency and has evolved into a search specialist organization {now acquired by iProspect (Aegis Media)}. He has guided the Digital Advertising Strategies of companies such as MTV, Merrill Lynch, ICICI Bank, Reliance in both Indian and Global Markets. He has traveled to more than 40 countries on various Consulting and Project Assignments and lived In Dubai for two years. Mr. Bhargava is a regular speaker at Digital Industry events & is one of the most respected entities in the Digital Media World.
  • RammohanSundaram, Chairman & MD at PlatformPlay Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd
    PlatformPlay is Mr. Rammohan’s second entrepreneurial venture. At PlatformPlay he drives the vision, strategy, and all the international large alliances to ensure he delivers his prime motto, which is ‘Partner and Employee Delight’. Prior to launching PlatformPlay; he launched, operated and successfully sold NetworkPlay Media Pvt. Ltd ( to Bertelsmann AG’s Gruner+Jahr, Germany in one of India’s most profitable exits in the ad-network space thus creating immense value for his investors and employees. He was also instrumental in acquiring Seventynine. Mobi, a leading mobile ad-network and integrating it with NetworkPlay. Mr. Rammohan launched a Brand Ad-Network, he was instrumental in bringing LinkedIn into India through a partnership before LinkedIn opened their office space, he partnered in delivering Gold Standard events such as adtech and iMedia Summits through a JV with DMG Events, and won awards at several world renowned shows such as Cannes, Asian Advertising Festival, World Brand Congress, CMO Asia Summits Etc.
  • Isaac Jacob, Head – Marketing, K.J.Somaya Institute of Management Studies & Research
    Mr. Isaac Jacob has been a Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Management professional with 28 years of experience. He has worked on brands such as Barbie Dolls, He-man and the Masters of the Universe, Hotwheels (Mattel Inc.); Puma High Performance Sports Shoes; Lux; Citibank; Kodak; Mercedes-Benz; Smirnoff; Cadburys; Fevicol, etc. He was the Vice President and Head Marketing-Tata Mutual Fund, President – Fortune Communications
    (JWT Group Co), Director MET Institute of Mass Media and last Industry assignment was as Chief Marketing Officer and Country Head-Customer Experience with YES Bank. He has lectured in most Management institutes on Marketing, Advertising and Brand Management. To name a few, Bajaj Institute from 1988-2006, NMIMS MET, SCMHRD-Pune, Al Ghurair Management Academy-Dubai etc. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D Program from Mumbai University in marketing.
  • Aditya Save, Head – Digital Marketing & Media, Marico India Limited.
    Mr. Save heads Digital Marketing & Media efforts for the Marico brand portfolio. Prior to this, e worked on the Innovation portfolio. He lead efforts on incubation projects in Hair & Foods categories, working on end to end solutions from Product configuration, marketing mix to final P&L delivery.
    He started his career in this dynamic media domain with the Hindustan Lever portfolio of brands. He has an in-depth understanding of the media landscape & was amongst the first in the industry to try & apply Theory of Constraints to the marketing domain. His portfolio has a diverse inclusions varying from various elements of marketing spends to managing first point logistics, consumer promotions, supply chain sourcing & management. He has used tools like Kaizen & 5S to lean out processes in business areas that had been hitherto untouched by TQM.
  • VikasTandon, Managing Director, Indigo Consulting
    Mr. Tandon is a first generation entrepreneur and leads one of India’s leading digital marketing and web development agencies, Indigo Consulting ( which provides Web Site Design, Online Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Usability Testing and Mobile Marketing solutions to blue chip clients like HSBC, Thomas Cook, HDFC Bank, Tata AIG General Insurance, Asian Paints and Hindustan Unilever.
